Configuration Steps to make any Connector available for External Applications

Below are the configuration steps to make any connector available for external applications e.g. NW IDM:

 

Step1: Go To Tcode SPRO in the GRC box.

Step 2: Click on ‘Create Connectors’ (Connector creation can also be done using TCode SM59)

Step 3: Maintain connectors and Connector Groups

Step 4: Assign Connectors to Connector Groups.

Step 5: Make connector as part of PROV scenario

Step 6: Maintain Connector settings Under Access Control.

Now check if the connector is valid for Provisioning scenario

 

Go to Access s Control screens by TCode NWBC

Click on ‘Access Request’ link as shown above. Below screen will be displayed.

Now click on system  from the Add button Drop Down and check if NW_IDM2connector is displayed in the list of Connectors as shown below.

If the connector is displayed, then this is the valid connector that can be passed from NW IDM using web service interface.
