How to Find the Pending Fire fighter logs that are pending with FF Controller for approval for a particular time frame in GRC 10.

Overview:

This document describes procedure to pull out firefighter logs pending with a particular log reviewer (FF Controller) or for a particular time period and also to extract FF log summary report for firefighter sessions.

STEP 1:

In the system GRC system run the transaction SE16.

Table used: GRFNMWRTINST(to fetch pending MSMP Instances).Sample criteria mentioned in below screenshot.

INSTANCE STATUS : Running

EXTERNAL KET : FFLOG* ( To get only Fire Fighter instances)

TIME STAMP : 20.140.910.000.000,0000000 (if looking for logs before 10^th Sept 2014).Mention Range if you want to get the logs that are pending for a particular time frame.

Output : All the pending logs in your GRC box that are pending with FF Controllers for approval or failed Instance ID's. The Column EXTERNAL_KEY_DISPLAY will give the detilas of the Fire Fighter , Fire Fighter ID and the Target syste.

We need MSMP INSTANCE ID, EXTERNAL KEY, EXTERNAL KEY FOR DISPLAY and TIMESTAMP to be exported in excel (File1.xls).

STEP 2:

In the system GRC system run the transaction SE16.

Table used: GRFNMWRTAPPR (to fetch firefighter log reviewers for identified pending logs) Copy all the MSMP Instance IDs from File1.xls (got from step 1) and paste them in INSTANCE_ID field and execute.

Note: Firefighter log approvers are same as controllers.Export MSMP INSTANCE ID and APPROVER USER ID into excel
file (File2.xls).

Output : We will get the Instance ID and the approver user id for that instance.

STEP 3:

We need to do some Excel work to find out the details from the downloaded files.

Lookup for approvers and populate in File1 from File2 using vlookup function in excel.

Note: In the EXTERNAL KEY FIELD there are 3 ids mentioned;FF user (users using firefighters), Firefighter role id and Connector.
