GRC Process Control 10.1 Enhancements
SAP has delivered GRC PC 10.1 with some new value addition features and UI changes which considerably improve the look of the application and also helps application in establishing compliance frame work for effective and efficient decision making.
Below are various enhancements noted in GRC PC 10.1
Work Center : My Home
The enhancements noted under this work center are:
Ad Hoc Tasks: In GRC 10.1, there is a new value add functionality called ‘Audit Request’ wherein you can submit audit request for a particular concerned area and it can be assigned to a respective audit group.
Embedded Search: Document search has now changed to embedded search and is a unified, comprehensive and real-time search function to search data and information.
Open Administration Cockpit:
The administration cockpit is a new feature for search functionality and is utilized for configuration and administration of SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search. Under administration cockpit various activities such as monitoring and managing search object connectors, scheduling indexing of search object connectors, and defining and maintaining system settings are performed.

Side Panel for 'My Process':This a new feature in GRC 10.1 which provides more drill down information on business processes and controls that a user is responsible for.

Work Center - Master Data:
Primary enhancement is noted in Organization set up of master data with new features like side panel for assessment status. In addition, other organization views and details like Master and Dependant Organization Views Mapping and Threshold Browser are available from Risk Management perspective.
Organization:
With the inclusion of ‘Side Panel’ feature in GRC 10.1, when you open an organization structure, you can check the Evaluation status and issues status for assessments related to a particular organization.
Click on ‘Open Side Panel’ (top right corner). You will get two status windows viz. Evaluation Status and Issue Status
1. Evaluation Status: Under ‘Evaluation Status’ you have status by ‘Survey assessment summary’ and ‘Control Test of Effectiveness’. Status for these two evaluation category can be generated either based on ‘Ratings’ or on ‘Status’.
2. Issue Status: Status of issues related to different assessment types can be obtained based on ‘Status’ and ‘Priority’ parameters.
Work Center - Rule Set up:
A new view option ‘Content template’ available for business rules under Rule Set up work center.
Work Center - Assessments:
Disclosure Survey– This is a new type of survey that allows you to collect and confirm the performance of controls and processes from a disclosure perspective. This survey type is helpful for compliance requirements (like SOX 302) and to the disclosure committee who oversee the processes to gather and analyze information to determine that proper disclosure has occurred.
